Today's
IAJVS is a nonprofit network of 28 national and international
human service agencies in major metropolitan areas in the
United States, Canada, and Israel.
IAJVS is the collective
voice for our members. We represent the network nationally
and internationally, and promote the important work of our
local member agencies in the U.S. and abroad.
To help its member
agencies reach the broadest possible client base, IAJVS provides
a wide range of technical, informational, and communications
support. IAJVS researches governmental and private funding
opportunities for its constituency and develops collaborative
program models.
We are a forum for
ideas and discussion, an advocate for our members on important
issues nationally and internationally, and a tireless partner
in our efforts to find creative ways to increase funding for
the essential services that our member agencies provide.
To achieve that end, IAJVS sponsors an annual conference for
its members, providing a crucial forum for agencies to share
ideas, collaborate on programs, and expand communication.
In order to enhance services to its
members, as well as increase the visibility of the Jewish
Vocational Service network, IAJVS cultivates important relationships
with other national organizations.
