staff members of its affiliate agencies.
Newsletter
IAJVS produces
a quarterly newsletter, E-Lights: An IAJVS Publication
for Executive & Professional Leadership, which highlights
new programs, grants, fundraising opportunities, and other
events that are going on at our member agencies throughout
the network. E-Lights allows our agencies to discover what's
new at other agencies and learn how their colleagues are addressing
critical service needs and political issues.

Conference
Calls
The IAJVS Professional
Development Committee hosts a number of conference calls throughout
the year in which staff members from the affiliate agencies
can learn about the programming experience of other agencies
and discuss techniques and tips for improving the service
being offered to their various clients. Recent calls have
focused on job development, improving employer relations,
and techniques for developing successful corporate relationships.

Annual
Conference
IAJVS holds a two and
a half day Annual Conference for both Executive and Professional
staff. The Annual Conference is a great opportunity for
agencies to share ideas, showcase new programs, learn about
new trends in fundraising, programming, policy issues, and
management tools, as well as network with colleagues.
